Located in Southern Africa, Mozambique is a country with a population of 21.2 million. With an illiteracy rate of 61% and 74.1% of the population living under USD $2 a day poverty remains widespread in the country. The Hunger Project has been working in Mozambique since 2006 and is empowering partners in three epicenter communities.
